Initially, the "Achromatous" EP's first track was supposed to be named "Æmber" - it underlines the concept mentioned in the previous post - the ambiguous and imbalanced extent of (human) nature and its behavioural consequences in both time and matter.
Thus, the two distinct meanings of the words "Amber/Ember" precisely embody this manifest carried across the whole record.
On the one hand, "Amber" as the dried and hardened resin that encapsulates and preserves objects and even organisms in their current states over time making them inaccessible or even "immutable" (looking at you there @meshuggah) in time.
On the other hand, "Ember" as the cradle of fire which might ignite a new hungry ever- and all-consuming flame of change, progress and existence.

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
This is fantastic! Some seriously tasty brutal tech death, with absolutely crushing riffs, rhythm, and vocals.
The album's production and mixing is also perfect, it's very balanced and allows the music to shine through the brutality.
Highly, highly recommended! somethingsomething9
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
