The 4th track's title is as a metaphor for the German word "Veilchen", which in turn is used as a euphemism for a black eye as a result of a violent confrontation.
Consequently, this song deals with a topic that is always reliably encountered, especially in current news feeds: violence, anger, rage, fury.
Disclaimer: The song is quite explicitly NOT about specific current events, as the song was already written in 2017, but its universal validity is of course especially evident in current world events, too.
Much more, "Mauve" is about the burgeoning feeling of unease or discomfort caused by an overwhelmingly ignorant and resentful attitude of an opponent, which is to be eliminated by physical violence as a last but by no means legitimate "approach" of pacifying conflicts or eliminating differences in opinions.
The silent part in the song exactly resembles this process of a growing anger that culminates in the explosion of fury.
lyrics
Inerasable witness revealing -
Revealing a course of events
Where argumentation
Fell victim to a lesser instinct
When deficient comprehension, inadequate consideration
Result in negligible relevance of respect
The ultimate instruments of persuasion
Become violence and agony
Where argumentation
Fell victim to my lesser instinct
Why does fear of concession
Entail hate for the unknown?
I fell victim - to my lesser instinct
Where I fell victim to my lesser instinct.
Of rage.
Solely the voiceless witness
Delivers undeniable evidence
Picturesque indications for an atrocity:
Where tongue was demand
Pain was enforced supply
Mauve bruises – the hypothetic adumbration
Where tongue is demand
Pain is endless supply
How the last impossible effort was made
And wounds heedlessly evocate further requital
Of rage.

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
This is fantastic! Some seriously tasty brutal tech death, with absolutely crushing riffs, rhythm, and vocals.
The album's production and mixing is also perfect, it's very balanced and allows the music to shine through the brutality.
Highly, highly recommended! somethingsomething9
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
