"Verdant" is used as a metaphor for nature, liveliness, vitality and in particular for forrests resembling the lungs of our world that are slowly but steadily suffocating under humanity's progressing industrialisation.
Although mankind ever increasingly disrupts the environment it is enclosed in, we still were born of that very same "mother" that created, favored and brought forth all life and species around us.
Therefore, in a rather cynical paradox, nature has born - or more precisely expressed - raised both its very own hangman and gravedigger that ultimately buries both nature and himself, in consequence.
lyrics
The origin of existence - The seed of all living
Genesis of diversity - The provenance of being
But One crucial defect in design:
Arousing a species that would disobey
It wept away within seconds what required aeons to form
A monumental downfall preluded by ingrate heirs
A mutual illusion of hope: The enclosed construct of finiteness
Embodies a last resort for the perishing mother
Where affliction meets amendment
Where demise proceeds revision
Where grave errors herald milestones
When nature plays its decisive role
Wearing a wintry verdant smile
Putting a shroud on a tomb
She seduced us to burrow with unlikely ease
Large enough to fit us.
Both.

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
This is fantastic! Some seriously tasty brutal tech death, with absolutely crushing riffs, rhythm, and vocals.
The album's production and mixing is also perfect, it's very balanced and allows the music to shine through the brutality.
Highly, highly recommended! somethingsomething9
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
